I originally thought this would be about the coffin clock from Rocky Horror picture show! It was at one time a real coffin made for a dutchess (I think) when her lover passed away.
In my basement studio sits one of these life-sized detachable jaw/top-of-the-head skulls that my late artist grandma had once used for sketching purposes. My then-12 year old asked whose skull that was and I told him it was Grandma's. Oops! I didn't think he'd take it literally. Found out I scared the bejeezus out of him for years. Alas, it has no clock in it...yet.

Dibbs! I get to keep you as a skull clock. No worries- I promise to keep you dusted!

Bowen was quite peeved when I asked him about that - MUAH HAHAHAHA!!!
ReplyDeleteI picked up two of these at "Z Gallery" in my local mall for $19.99 each. I think you can order from them online if you don't have a store near you. ☠
