It's Halloween Time at Disneyland. I just arrived home from my first trip there this season. Halloween Time only lasts until November 1st, ( Haunted Mansion as Jack Skelington's 'Nightmare Before Christmas' Mansion lasts through the end of the year) and then in true Disney fashion- it will overnight become a Christmas/Yule/ Solstice- like colorful celebration! So hurry down for the Halloween fun! This year the focus is on 'the Villains' of Disney- 'cuz they are the 'scary' things at Disneyland!. The gift shops have a huge focus right now on Nightmare before Christmas and Haunted Mansion memorabilia. The Disney Gallery which has been moved close to the main entrance next to the big 'Mad Hatter' shoppe has quite a bit of Haunted Mansion art including some Shag originals in the vault (literally) at a mere $16,000! Gorgeous stuff!
Looks like Bat en Rouge ( for those of you familiar) may be preparing to to expand just in time for the product blitz that the upcoming Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland is bound to be. I have started saving up now!
