Crime & Violence are NOT Gothic

regards to the horrible events of Friday 12/14/12 in Newtown, Connecticut; The
Gothic Tea Society sends thoughts and prayers of strength and healing to
all the families involved.
As a Gothic organization, The Gothic Tea Society rejects the use of the term 'Goth or Gothic' as applied to persons who commit such heinous acts. We condemn such violence, and find it important to state that crime and violence have nothing to do with Gothic Culture.
This is a statement and not an invitation to discuss Gun rights or control, so please don't post about that here.
